Two of the most culturally significant music videos of their era. Closer became a generational music-video moment - a visual artifact tied to the sound and look of a decade. Everybody Hates Me earned a VMA nomination and cemented The Chainsmokers as one of the most visually ambitious acts in electronic music.

Cinematographer on Closer. Director of Photography on Everybody Hates Me. Brought in to help capture the visual language and emotional texture of two videos that would be seen by billions worldwide.

Working at this scale meant precision under pressure - from small to large crews and narrow windows to find the shot that would carry the song. Two different videos. Two different worlds. The same commitment underneath: every frame had to earn its place. It was the kind of education in production discipline that doesn’t happen anywhere except inside the fast paced scene of music video production.
